# First steps after installation

## Overview

This chapter describes the initial configuration of Storware Backup & Recovery after installation. Before proceeding, ensure that all steps for your chosen installation method have been completed.

The following sections explain how to connect Nodes to the Server and guide you through the first configuration steps after logging in to the web interface.
