# Protecting Microsoft 365

Storware Backup & Recovery server allows you to protect multiple Microsoft 365 organizations within a single server instance. Before you add the Microsoft 365 organization to Storware Backup & Recovery server, you have to configure all required permissions of your application in the Microsoft 365 service.
