# Protecting Microsoft 365

Storware Backup & Recovery server allows you to protect multiple Microsoft 365 organizations within a single server instance. Before you add the Microsoft 365 organization to Storware Backup & Recovery server, you have to configure all required permissions of your application in the Microsoft 365 service. 

Go to the [Microsoft 365 organization management](/backup-and-recovery-71/protecting-microsoft-365/microsoft-365-organization-management.md) section to learn how to configure Microsoft 365 organization permissions to be able to add them to Storware Backup & Recovery server.
