# Pausing and resuming

## Pausing Storware Endpoints client

You can temporarily pause the CDP process, e.g. when you're using a mobile connection. To do this you have to find the Storware Endpoints icon in the notification area on the Windows toolbar and click the right mouse button on it:

Then click the **Pause button** and select the pause time from the menu. You can pause the CDP process for 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, or till the next system restart.

You can resume the CDP process by clicking the right mouse button on the Storware Endpoints icon in the notification area, and selecting the button, and then **Start Now.**
